Who is Polysense?

Who are you?

  • 5+ years of project management experience in a tech environment
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Kanban).
  • A strong interest and solid understanding of artificial intelligence and its capabilities.
  • Eager to use technology to make a positive impact.
  • Able to work from our Ghent office with travel to customer locations as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with budget management and financial reporting.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven; able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; proactive and adaptable.

Your day-to-day

You will be the link between the technical team and our customers. You’ll play a crucial role in keeping both the customer and the team happy and motivated. You take over the project from the Sales team and take it from strategy to success.

Technical Support for Sales:

  • Provide technical expertise to support the Sales team.
  • Attend sales meetings to assist in developing use cases for new customers.
  • Offer technical advice to the Sales team to assess the feasibility and approach for new use cases.

Project Planning:

  • Strategize project plans, considering the capacity of the Engineering teams.
  • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Support Project Engineers in drafting detailed plans and verifying the feasibility of deadlines.

Project Coordination:

  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between the Engineering team and the customer.
  • Attend stand-ups and organize additional meetings as needed to sustain project flow.
  • Clear any blockers and ensure the smooth workflow of the Engineering Team.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Customer Relations:

  • Maintain a strong relationship with customers, ensuring all project requirements are fulfilled as per the Project Proposal.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Management:

  • Act as the main contact and trusted advisor for team members, ensuring individual motivation and addressing any frustrations.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.

Budget Management:

  • Manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure financial accountability.
  • Report on the financial performance of projects.

Process Improvement:

  • Implement and optimize project management processes and tools.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
